Sapp Wedding — March 11, 2017
While working with Paige Logan Photography, l was able to shoot a handful of weddings on my own & I’m finally sharing some favorites from Sarah & Blake’s wedding early this year! (Thank you to Whitney Woodall for second shooting!) Hopefully this will give you a better taste of my wedding work! I’m so excited to start shooting more weddings on my own this year. Now booking weddings for 2018!
what a treat it was to make photos of another WKU photojournalism alumna! I've known Katie for several years — we met when I was just starting the WKUPJ program & she was finishing up! I'm so glad our paths crossed again last week & I got to photograph her little family before Thanksgiving when she was back in Bowling Green. enjoy the beautiful Mayfield family!
just a few days shy of three weeks old. welcome to the world, baby saylor!
melissa is graduating from WKU in december & wanted to make some photos as a gift to her family! we made hundreds of portraits, here are two of my favorites.
I've been documenting the Nicholas family since Emily was pregnant with Evelyn! I can't believe she is already one year old & that I'm lucky to have the most loyal clients. (I've photographed their maternity, newborn, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months and 1 year sessions!) I can't wait to keep watching & photographing this little girl grow up!
I got the chance to photograph a big family session for 10+ people this summer on their family farm. Here are some of my favorites of this sweet little family of three before the big shoot!
you've already seen photos from beaux's birth on the blog, but you haven't seen these! here are some of my favorites from her newborn session back in August!
hi, world — today is my first day back to working/shooting since the wedding & honeymoon! In case you missed me, that's what I've been up to the past month! (I'm Katie Starks now, although it may take me a while to prove that on my website!) I took some sweet photos of baby b a week before getting married & I'm just now getting back to post some of my faves. enjoy! more sessions to come soon! xoxo
I've been so lucky to work on yet another project with Hannah, the queen of kitting and all-things-yarn! (In case you missed it, her book Slow Knitting comes out this October & I photographed the book in its entirety!) We just wrapped up a project for Malabrigo Yarns called Malabrigo Heritage, a digital collection full of photos/ essays/ knitting patterns that comes out in September! We shot photos of all the pieces (sweaters, cowls & hats!) on a hot July day in Nashville, TN — you wouldn't think it was sweltering weather by looking at the beautiful models. Here are a few sneak peeks of some of my favorite pieces in the Heritage collection — enjoy!
four fun siblings & one beautiful summer night.
