I’ve got a special place in my heart for these two. Before I knew Bethany, my husband & I were friends with Josh and jokingly called him our son because of our love for him. After Bethany and I quickly became friends, I remember sitting at Spencer’s with her as she verbally processed her feelings on if she should consider a date with Josh. She listened well to good friends vouching for Josh character and found out for herself too. We’ve been rooting for them as they dated and as we knew Josh’s plan to pursue marriage. I hid behind a bush and held back tears of joy as I took photos while Josh proposed last fall. I took their engagement photos a couple weeks ago on a perfect spring morning at sunrise. And in just about a month, they will be saying “I do” and I can’t wait to be there taking photos and celebrating what Christ has done in bringing these two together and uniting them as one!
